There will be pelicans, swan and other shore birds observed throughout the day, and you will hear the incessant screech of the night owls after dark! Eagles and chicken hawks can be seen riding the waves of the air currents or sleeping atop a nearby fence post, seemingly oblivious to their surroundings. www.nebraskabirdingtrails.com and www.wildbirdhabitatstore.com are good references for the birders to check out.

You might want to await one of the stunning sunsets too. The myriad wild flowers will have their best colorings at dusk with some closing up and some just beckoning. Your
hostess is: Pat Bridges
The Bridges previously raised purebred Black Angus bulls in Broken Bow, Nebraska. After moving to the ranch they sold their registered herd and raised top-grade Angus cattle and sold their calves every fall. After Jim's accidental death a few years ago, Pat is no longer raising her own cattle. She is leasing the ranch land out, and is maintaining the guest ranch full time.
